Citizen adds experienced and transformational leader to guide North and South American operations.

TORRANCE, Calif. (July 2, 2018) – Citizen Systems America is pleased to add senior business leader Norimitsu (Nori) Kato as President and CEO of its Americas operations.

Mr. Kato comes to Citizen Systems America with over 33 years of experience with the parent company, Citizen Watch, and other divisions within the company’s various business segments. Previously serving in leadership roles for the company including Managing Director (MD) of Citizen Systems Europe GmbH, and President and COO of Citizen Machinery divisions located throughout Asia, Mr. Kato brings a wealth of leadership experience and success to the role in the Americas.

Additionally, Mr. Kato has served in key influential roles regarding the company’s core product developments and markets targeted. Products of note that Mr. Kato helped develop for the company are the CL-S700 industrial barcode printer, CL-S521/621 robust desktop barcode printers and an array of point-of-sale value products for the retail space.

Mr. Kato will be located at the company’s North American headquarters in Torrance, California.
